I Was Not Raped, Filed Case in Pressure Says Gaushala-26

Gaushala 26, the girl who filed a rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, will not appeal to the Supreme Court against the verdict given by the Patan High Court.

 

Gaushala 26 filed a petition in the High Public Prosecutor’s Office against the decision of the Patan High Court acquitting Sandeep on May 2.

 

Dharmaavatar Koirala, deputy attorney general and spokesperson of the High Public Prosecutor’s Office, Patan, has confirmed this.

 

As Gaushala 26 submitted a petition to the High Public Prosecutor’s office along with the decision, now Sandeep also got relief. It has been confirmed that he will get permanent relief from the rape case against him.

 

Gaushala 26 has also sent a petition to the Attorney General’s office with a decision not to go to the Supreme Court against Sandeep. She initially submitted a petition to Attorney General Ramesh Badal. After that, she filed a petition at the High Public Prosecutor’s office in Patan on Friday.
