Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that although there is a shortage of manpower in health institutions, the country’s economic situation is not in a position to increase manpower.
While inaugurating the extended cancer treatment service between Narayani Hospital and Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Minister Poudel clarified that although there is a desire to increase the manpower in the government health institutions, it is not possible to increase the number.
He said that even if there is a desire to fill all the health-related equipment in hospitals across the country, including Narayani Hospital, it cannot be done immediately.
Minister Poudel also asked the Narayani Hospital management to focus on increasing local resources and sources of income.
