The United States will honor Muskan Khatun, who was attacked by acid, with the International Brave Women Award. In recognition of Khatun’s work in ending the acid attack, United States is about to reward him. According to the US Embassy in Nepal, Khatun is scheduled to be honores by US First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Tony Binklan on March 8. Khatun is the first Nepali to receive this award. Last year’s award went to Pakistan’s Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai. Khatun of Birgunj was attacked with acid while going to school last year.
