According to the police, 80 people have been killed in Jajarkot and Rukum in the earthquake that took place at midnight yesterday, with Jajarkot as the center, while around 140 people have been injured. According to DSP Santosh Roka, Chief of Police, District Police Office, Jajarkot, 44 people have been confirmed dead in Jajarkot alone. Roka said that 30 people from Bheri municipality, 6 from Nalgad municipality, 7 from Kushe village and 1 from Chedagad municipality were among the dead.
