Jennie donated 100 million won ($74,400) on behalf of Blackpink fan club, Blink, to Koryoin (ethnic Koreans from post-Soviet states) teenagers, according to the Korean chapter of Habitat, an international residential welfare nonprofit organization, on Thursday.

The donation will help overseas teenagers coming back to Korea adapt to the culture and society. The money will be used for the construction project of the Raetam Wood International Alternative School (translated) located in Anseong in Gyeonggi.

The Raetam Wood International Alternative School serves as a base for Koryoin teenagers who have settled in Korea, enabling them to live and study in the country. The school intends on adding more buildings to help it deliver its programs more efficiently.
