Health and Population Minister Pradip Paudel has said that all scattered health support programs should be brought under the Health Insurance Board and implemented.
Addressing the program held on Tuesday in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 7th Social Security Day, he expressed his opinion that it would be better if the laws were made and integrated.
He said that only if the target class can be clearly distinguished, more facilities can be given to the target class.
‘Let’s distinguish the target group clearly, if we can do that, we can provide more facilities to the target group now,’ said Paudel, ‘we need to focus on providing more facilities effectively by integrating the services we provide to the citizens, not by scattering them.
As in social security, it seems necessary to amend the law and integrate several programs that are scattered in the health sector and run them under the Health Insurance Board.
He stressed that the current situation of citizens not getting treatment due to lack of money should be put an end to any serious illness.
