Minister Bishnu Paudel Urges Nepali Community to Help fo Country Development

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has requested the Nepali diaspora to help the country’s political stability as the current government of Nepal Communist Party (UML) and Nepali Congress are working with the country’s development at the center.

 

Minister Paudel, who is in Washington, DC to participate in the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, has asked the Nepalese Embassy there to help the development of the motherland through investment in the discussions organized by the Nepalese diaspora.

 

‘The aim of the current government is to develop according to the people’s wishes and move forward on the path of prosperity, we are working accordingly.’ Minister Paudel said. He suggested that skills, capital and knowledge acquired abroad should be used in Nepal as there are ample opportunities for investment in energy, tourism, information technology and other sectors. Similarly, he also expressed the commitment that the government will facilitate the investors with priority.

 

Answering the questions of the participants, the Minister of Finance called upon them to invest with confidence as there is an investment environment in Nepal and assurance of return.
