More than 14 houses have been washed away due to the flood in Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality-5 Thame of Solukhumbu.
According to the information given by Chief District Officer of Solukhumbu, Devi Pandey Khatri, 14 houses including one school, three clinics were completely damaged. She said that there was information that 7 other houses were at risk.
Similarly, she informed that a dormitory was also washed away. She said that no details of human casualties have been received.
Teams of Nepali Army and Nepal Police have reached the incident site. At the same time, the Department of Water and Meteorology has also asked to be on high alert saying that the danger has increased around Dudhkoshi river.
