The Ministry of Health and Population will give the task of repairing the damaged health equipment of the federal hospital to the National Innovation Center headed by Mahavir Pun.
In the presence of Health and Population Minister Pradeep Poudel, the Ministry and the Center signed on Wednesday. On behalf of the Ministry, Head of Quality Measurement and Regulation Division Dr. Madan Upadhyay and Center President Mahaveer Pun signed the agreement.
A few days ago, Minister Poudel had asked Pun to help repair the equipment that was being wasted in the hospital. After that, the ministry made a formal agreement with the center headed by him.
After the signing, Minister Paudel expressed his belief that the equipment that could not be used in the hospital due to lack of maintenance will be repaired with the help of the center and the treatment services will be facilitated. ‘This state appreciates the contribution of scientists who are trying to do something in the country using the skills of the country,’ Minister Paudel said, ‘I hope that the equipment will be repaired at a low cost with indigenous skills.’
He expressed the hope that with the help of the center, the patients will also benefit from the use of the state’s wasted property and the expenses for the purchase of equipment will also be reduced.
Now the center will take information about the condition of health equipment which is currently deteriorating in 17 hospitals under the ministry. After that, all equipment that can be repaired will be repaired by the center’s technicians.
Center Chief Pun expressed his happiness saying that the state has trusted him and given him a big responsibility.
“The state has given us a big responsibility by trusting us,” he said, “now we will repair it using our own resources and technology.”
