The MoU between the two countries covers the upgrading of Kathmandu valley transmission line including Tokha-Chhare tunnel, Hilsa-Simkot road, Kimathanka-Khandbari road and bridge, Geelong-Kerung-Kathmandu cross-border railway, Geelong-Kerung-Rasuwagadhi Chilime 220 kV cross-border transmission line.
Before the talks, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army presented a ‘guard of honour’ to Prime Minister Oli. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping today.
