After monsoon became active this year in Nepal, 33 people have lost life due to floods and landslide from different places. 30 people have been reported missing since Jestha 31 and 30 people have been injured. The information has been provided by Home Ministry.
According to ministry, 36 Government buildings, 6 community and school buildings, 22 Suspension bridge, 13 Bridges, 13 Hydropower project, 2 Wood Bridges and 2 Cooperative buildings is destroyed.
475 Houses are completely destroyed and 112 houses are partially destroyed due to flood and landslide.
After Jestha 31, 15 people were swept in flood, 11 people came under landslide and 1 people from heavy rainfall, a total of 27 people died. About 676 family lost their lifestyle. The most effected district are Sindhupalchowk and Manang. Including these 2 district total 26 district are effected in whole country.
