Nepal & Myanmar Game Draws, Final to be Played on Sunday

The match between Nepal and Myanmar today under the four-nation International Women’s Football Championship ended in a draw. The two countries played out a 2-2 draw in the final match of the league stage.

In the first half of the match held at Dasharath Stadium, Nepal and Myanmar played a 2-2 draw. However, neither team could score in the second half.

In the sixth minute of the first half, Myanmar shocked the home crowd by scoring the first goal. The goal was scored by Mat Noi Khin from a free kick for Myanmar. Immediately after, in the 11th minute of the match, Savita Rana Magar scored for Nepal. She tied the match at 1-1.

Similarly, in the 17th minute of the match, Myanmar scored the second goal against Nepal. The goal for Myanmar was scored by May Tet Lu. In the last minute of the first half, Savitra Bhandari ‘Samba’ scored for Nepal. She scored the goal in the 41st minute of the match with a great pass from Preeti Rai. In the second half, Nepal and Myanmar tried to score repeatedly, but failed. Earlier, Nepal and Myanmar had defeated Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan. Now the final match between Nepal and Myanmar will be played on Wednesday.
