No More Odd-Even Rule in Kathmandu Valley From Today (5th July), All Vehicles Can Operate

The odd-even rule in private and public vehicles in Kathmandu Valley has been removed. The lockdown order extended till 15th July has no rule for odd even system in vehicle. From 5th July onwards every kind of vehicle can run with health measures and seat rules by government.

A meeting of Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur Sunday has decided to dissolve odd-even rule in the lockdown. The prohibitory order has been extended until July 15. All vehicles can ply the roads by following health safety standards. Every kind of vehicle like, three-wheeler rickshaws, and vehicles with less than 25 seats can also operate. The microbuses are not allowed to carry more than 9 passengers. And transportation of construction material can be done from 10 pm to 5 am.
