Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has claimed that equipment has been installed at Gautam Buddha International Airport to enable flights even in low visibility, and that now even fog will not affect flights.
While breaking ground on the main tunnel of the Siddhababa Tunnel on Friday, Finance Minister Poudel said that the Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required (RNPAR) system had been implemented at Gautam Buddha International Airport since Thursday. He said that the system will enable flights in low visibility.
Finance Minister Poudel also said that the government has faced many criticisms during the construction of the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhaiharwa. He claimed that they themselves built the Gautam Buddha International Airport and would make it operational. He also urged people not to oppose the projects taken forward by the government.
Pointing out the shortcomings and weaknesses of the government, Finance Minister Poudel said that everyone should support the good work done by the government.
