One Week Lockdown Extended in Kathmandu Valley, Vehicle on Odd-Even Rule, Shops to Open

Lockdown has been extended for one week in Kathmandu Valley. Areas are made loose in many sectors. Private vehicles are allowed to run with odd even rule. Shops can open according to days. In this period of lockdown taxi service also can run on odd even rule. Public vehicles are not allowed to run in the extended lockdown.

To make lifestyle easy and also to control infection rate this decision has been made. Chief District Officer Parajuli has said this does not mean that infection has become less, citizens need to care and take precautions themselves.

Hardware shops will open daily and other shops will open according to day.

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday – Gold, Utensils, Electrical and Household things shop.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Shopping Mall, Sports, Cloth and Shoes, Automobiles shop, Cosmetics, Gift and Tailoring.

They can open from 11am-4pm.

Fruits and Vegetables will be as per previous decision.
