Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has taken the first decision to approve the National Cancer Prevention Strategy during his assumption of office.
As the first decision after assuming office in the ministry on Monday, Minister Paudel approved the strategy for the prevention of national cancer disease. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli appointed Paudel, who was elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Region No. 5, as the Minister of Health and Population on Monday.
He said that there may not be a lot of information about the political and theoretical aspects of the health sector, and he said that immediate programs and long-term programs will be made together with experts who are working and have worked.
Paudel said that within a week, he will bring a blueprint of what to do immediately and what to do in the long term. He said that the work to be done within one month, three months, six months and one year will be classified. Paudel has also said that he will improve the queue situation at the government hospital within a month. He said that he came to work rather than talk.
