Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed all relevant agencies to be active in the rescue and relief of citizens suffering from natural disasters. This morning through the social networking site Facebook, he expressed grief over the loss of property due to the floods that occurred in various parts of the country after the incessant rains and directed to rescue the affected people.
Prime Minister Dahal has said that the government is holding a meeting of the Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Committee to reduce the possible damage and risk caused by landslides as there is a forecast of high rainfall this year.
