-Dr. DR Upadhyay,

There have been ups and downs in Nepal’s politics from time to time. Ordinary people are not so enthusiastic about politics at this time. The political environment has not progressed so smoothly. This achievement has been achieved in the country through long-term movement, struggle and sacrifice. No one should play games on the achievement and should not be allowed to do so. Many have sacrificed, penance and sacrifice to bring change.

These problems have arisen due to the dishonesty of Nepal’s political parties and their leaders from time to time. All the democratic forces must work honestly towards the path of institutional development. Everyone should be aware of the changed situation. The state should bring a policy program to address all the problems related to the lives of the citizens.

Not only by bringing policy, but also on the path of implementation. Now the country must move forward with the institutional development of change. Sustainable development is today’s need. Power-centric politics alone does not give a way out to the country. Alarm bells are always ringing on the system of governance.

Public confidence in political parties and leaders is declining. The party and its leaders have not yet been able to win the hearts of the people in a sustainable manner. . The people have come to know the party and its leaders who will do anything for power. In this situation, Nepal’s political parties are sowing the seeds of political instability. Citizens should not stop warning if the government is doing wrong. The government is the guardian of the citizen.

Citizens have the right to voice their grievances against the state. There is no need to be afraid. The state should always be ready to make the life of the citizens comfortable. No one should be allowed to create confusion in the country. Citizens should have easy access to state services. The state must be honest in making good use of citizens’ taxes.

The focus of the state should always be on maintaining transparency and good governance. In our country, a person wants to be a leader forever. This is also a problem for the country. In a democracy, leadership must change from time to time. Such questions strengthen the democratic state system. Periodic elections, guarantee of rule of law, good governance and accountable government are the basic values of democracy. Nepal’s political parties have fought and sacrificed for a long time to change Nepal’s system of governance.

Ordinary citizens have been supporting the parties for political change. But the parties and their leaders are still failing to institutionalize change and make life easier for the masses through the exercise of their governing power. As long as we cannot create a democratic environment within Nepal’s political parties, speak out against personal interests and totalitarian thinking, democracy will remain in jeopardy.
