Prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba got the vote of confidence. Deuba was appointed as prime minister on 29 Asadh by supreme court. He decided to take vote of confidence on first meeting of parliament. He was able to get more than required votes. He got total of 165 votes in his side and 83 votes against him.
According to constitution article 76(5) he was required to take vote of confidence with in 30 days after he was appointed as prime minister. He took the vote of confidence in 6th day after being the prime minister.
