Rastriya Swatantra Party’s President Rabi Lamichhane has been released from Kaski police custody after 84 days.
Lamichhane was released from custody after the court ordered his release on bail of Rs 6.5 million through a bank guarantee.
All the defendants, including Ravi, are currently in the Kaski court. Now, after completing the court process, all the defendants will be taken to Fishtail Hospital, Pokhara for a medical examination.
According to sources, he was released on the condition that he appear in person for the proceedings of the case registered in another district court.
Kaski District Court Judge Nitij Rai ordered the release of all seven people, including Ravi, on bail on Thursday evening after a week-long closed-door hearing.
