The weather is expected to take few more days to improve due to the monsoon wind, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Monsoon is still active due to the moisture-laden wind coming from the Bay of Bengal, according to the Department.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light to moderate rainfall is taking place at some parts of the Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces as the monsoon low-pressure system is situated a bit south from Nepal currently.

Tonight, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the country while heavy rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
