The government has decided to give a relief of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods. Government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that the Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to give the relief amount according to the procedure.
The meeting declared national mourning and decided to lower the national flag for three days. Likewise, the government has decided to deposit 1 billion in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Spokesman Gurung has informed that the meeting also decided to deposit one month’s salary and service benefits fund for the Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers.
