The rude language and behavior towards those traveling through Tribhuvan International Airport will no longer be repeated.
The Tribhuvan Airport administration has introduced strict rules amid complaints of staff misbehaving with passengers.
According to the code of conduct made public on Friday, employees will have to greet passengers arriving in Nepal with “Welcome to Nepal! Have a nice day!”
On the other hand, employees going outside Nepal are required to say, “Have a nice journey.” Not only that, but the code of conduct also states that rude words should not be spoken in addition to showing intimacy.
According to the code of conduct made public by Tribhuvan Airport Chief Immigration Officer Bishnu Prasad Koirala, passengers will have to participate in three types of safety surveys: excellent, satisfactory, and average, depending on the service facilities.
