CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the ruling parties have started showing temptation to pass the six ordinances issued last December.
While addressing the national gathering of the party-affiliated Socialist Press Organization on Sunday, he also commented on the arrogance of the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML.
“There has been an attempt to use greed to increase the number of seats in the National Assembly. Again, a new attempt is underway. We support what is right, oppose what is wrong. We do not say everything now,” he said. “There are some things in politics that need to be discussed. The basic policy is clear, we cannot support what is wrong.”
He also accused the Congress-UML coalition government of moving forward in violation of the constitution, acts, and laws.
He objected to the ordinance being brought without withdrawing the bill under consideration in the parliamentary committee. He claimed that the current government, which should be the protector of the law, is a predator. Chairman Nepal accused the current government led by KP Sharma Oli of feeding brokers, capitalists and middlemen.
