A plane has crashed near Tribhuvan Airport. According to eyewitnesses, the plane of Sourya Airlines crashed while taking off from the runway for Pokhara at around 11 o’clock on Wednesday.
According to airport spokesperson Premnath Thakur, Sourya’s plane met with an accident while taking off from Tribhuvan Airport to Pokhara. He said there were 19 people in the plane including the crew members. The plane is on fire and smoke is rising. Security personnel and airport fire fighters are on hand to put out the fire.
