The search for both the buses that went missing along with their passengers in the Trishuli river is continuing today. The Nepali Army, Nepal Police along with a team including armed police divers are continuing the search for the second accident.
District Police Office Chitwan Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhesraj Rimal said that the location of the bus can be estimated. “The rescue work, which was stopped yesterday (Friday) evening, is starting today (Saturday) morning. It can be assumed that the location of the bus is the same as the curtain of the Angel vehicle from Birganj and the tag suit worn by a child younger than ten years were found. It will be verified today”, he said.
Some of the passengers with the car curtain and tag suit were found scattered on the Trishuli shore on Friday. Dive teams are continuing to search in and out of the water. The District Security Committee has taken a strategy to use any modern equipment as needed to search for lost buses and passengers.
