Every year September 13 is celebrated as World Sepsis Day. In this context, an interactive program on “Update on Sepsis” has been organized to provide information on sepsis.
An interaction program was organized on Tuesday at Everest Nursing College in Sinamangal, Kathmandu. Mahabir Health Foundation has organized an interactive program on ‘Update on Sepsis’.
Mahabir Health Foundation, which has been organizing various programs such as discussions, interactions and workshops in the field of health education and public awareness, has discussed sepsis with the participation of personalities who have been teaching nursing studies.
Speaking at the event, Deepak Bhattacharya, President of Mahabir Health Foundation, presented a paper on sepsis and its effects. Presenting the data about the current condition of sepsis in the world, Bhattacharya also gave detailed information about the therapy that is useful for the prevention of sepsis. He claimed that nurses play an important role in the prevention of sepsis.
Speaking at the program, Seema Thapa, principal of Everest Nursing College, said that this program will provide significant support to the students who are studying nursing.
Mahabir Health Foundation informed that the interaction program was organized with the support of Gufik Biosciences.
