The Indian team has been mobilized since today for the search and rescue of two buses and the passengers on the bus that fell into the Trishuli river due to a landslide from Simaltal on the Naragangadh-Muglin road section . A 12-member team of the Indian National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has arrived at the scene from today for search.
Before the search operation, the Indian team had a discussion with the chief district officer at the district administration office in Chitwan with the officials of the security agencies here.
NDRF representative Kunal Tiwari , who came for the search, said that they will now start the search as soon as possible. He pointed out that there are rivers in India as well as in Nepal and said that there would be no problem in searching for rivers of the same nature. He said that the work can be done here, saying that search operations have been carried out in India in murky and high flow rivers.
