Prime Minister Prachanda has said that there is a problem of resources to repay the debt to Nepal. He says that Nepal has a big resource problem to meet its development needs. “We do not have enough internal resources, so we have a great need for subsidized resources from outside,” he said while addressing the Supplementary Meeting (AIDA-21) of the International Development Association (IDA) under the World Bank that started in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Prachanda urged the countries that are facing development challenges to advance the pace of development by providing concessional financial support.
He said that in order to ensure global peace and common prosperity, the challenges seen in the development of countries that were lagging behind during the industrial revolution should be addressed.
