Today is the 74th Democracy Day. Democracy was established in Nepal on Falgun 7, 2007, thanks to the sacrificial struggle of the great martyrs.
Democracy Day is celebrated in Nepal every year with various programs to commemorate the day when martyrs Dashrath Chand, Dharmabhakta Mathema, Gangala Shrestha, and Shukraraj Shastri laid down their lives with a smile and ended the autocratic Rana rule through the People’s Revolution.
The government has declared a public holiday across the country today on the occasion of Democracy Day. Government and non-government bodies are organizing various programs across the country today on the occasion of Democracy Day.
