Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has said that tourism is the foundation of Nepal’s development and prosperity.
She made this observation at a ‘retreat’ program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sri Antu and Kanyam, Ilam, for the heads and representatives of foreign missions and various international organizations in Nepal.
She said, “Nepal’s unique culture, heritage, and natural beauty are the world’s major attractions, and these invaluable assets of ours are also the basis for the country’s development and prosperity.”
At the event, Minister Rana also clarified that the aim of this program is to share the warm hospitality of Nepal’s diversity, rich culture, and natural beauty with the world community on the eve of the New Year.
Minister Rana praised Nepal’s cultural and natural diversity, as well as its beauty, greenery, biodiversity and heritage, and snow-capped mountains, according to his secretariat.
