The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the prize money for the winning cricket team of the Champions Trophy.
According to the information provided by the ICC on its website, the winning team will receive $2.24 million (30 crores 97 Lakhs).
The second-place team, i.e. the team that loses in the final, will receive $1.12 million (154.872 million rupees).
Similarly, the losing team in the semi-finals will receive $560,000 (Rs. 77.436 crore).
The total prize money for the 2017 Champions Trophy has been increased by 53 percent, and this time the total prize money will be $6.9 million (954.123 million).
Eight teams will compete in the Champions Trophy 2025, which begins on February 19. The final will be played on March 9.
