Flood & Landslide: 100 D’ied Till Now, 67 People Missing

100 people have died due to floods and landslides and 67 people are missing. One hundred people were injured in the disaster. 

20 in Lalitpur, 15 in Dhading, 12 in Kathmandu, 10 in Kavre, 7 in Makwanpur, 6 in Sindhupalchok, 5 in Solukhumbu, 5 in Panchthar and 5 in Bhaktapur have lost their lives due to landslides.

According to Rishiram Tiwari, spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, three people have died in Dolakha, two in Sindhuli, two in Dhankuta, two in Mahottari, one in Ramechhap, one in Jhapa, one in Udaipur, one in Ilam, one in Saptari and one in Nuwakot.

He said that 9,983 security personnel were mobilized for search and rescue in the flood-affected areas and 3,039 people have been rescued so far.
