192 people have died and 30 people have gone missing due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains.
Rishiram Tiwari, spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs informed that 194 people were injured in the natural disaster.
He said that after the flood, all the security agencies were mobilized for search, rescue and relief and more than 4,500 people have been rescued so far.
It has been informed that emergency relief materials including foodstuff have been provided to the flood victims and the injured are being treated free of charge.
The government has given high priority to search, rescue and relief. Spokesman Tiwari also informed that efforts are being made to open the blocked highway for traffic.
