Netflix has bought the digital rights of the much awaited Indian film ‘Pushpa 2’ for Rs 275 crore INR. The deal is one of the largest digital rights purchases in the history of Indian films, reflecting the interest shown by the world-renowned OTT platform towards South Indian content.
This rights sale has come as a part of the commercial success achieved by the film even before its release. It is said that the Allu Arjun starrer has earned Rs 1,850 crore before its release through various rights sales.
