Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged people to consider the sufferings of the people due to floods, landslides and inundation as a common national pain.
In a press conference held at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar, Prime Minister Oli asked people to support the search, rescue, relief and assistance, considering the suffering of the people as common at this time.
‘This is not only a matter of grief for the government, but for the entire society. “We are all saddened by the disaster,” he said. In the future, when building structures, structures that can withstand disasters and will be built in the long term will be strong.’
Prime Minister Oli said that the rescue and search may have been weak due to the large-scale disaster that was greater than the government’s preparedness. He also promised to correct such things in the future.
