Prime Minister Oli Returned Back to Country

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returned home on Monday after completing his visit to America. He left for New York on October 4th leading the Nepalese delegation and landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday afternoon.

Oli addressed the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations and during his stay in America, he met with the heads of government of various countries including India.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Dahal, Deputy Prime Minister Prakashman Singh and Bishnu Poudel arrived at the airport to welcome Oli.

Oli addressed the United Nations General Assembly on October 10. This year’s General Debate of the General Assembly was ‘Leaving No One Behind: Working Together for Peace, Sustainable Development and Human Dignity for the Present and Future Generations’. During his stay in New York, he had sideline talks with heads of various countries.

After Prime Minister Oli’s return to the country, a meeting of the Council of Ministers has been called to formulate a strategy to deal with disasters caused by natural disasters.
