The government has decided to provide compensation and relief to the families of those who lost their lives in floods and landslides after continuous rains.
The meeting held at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Acting Prime Minister Prakashman Singh decided to compensate the citizens who lost their lives in the floods and landslides.
After the meeting, government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung expressed his condolences to all the citizens who lost their lives in the disaster and informed that it has been decided to arrange compensation for the relatives of the deceased citizens.
He also said that it has been decided that the Ministry of Transport will take the initiative to provide free treatment to the injured and open the blocked roads immediately. Government spokesperson Gurung also informed that due to the problems created due to continuous rains, the exams of various faculties have been postponed.
