Actress Rekha Thapa is married. Sources said that she got married to Balram Shahi of Jajarkot, who has been living in Israel, a few days ago.

This is the second marriage of Rekha Thapa, a successful actress in Nepali film industry. Earlier, her marriage with producer Chhabiraj Ojha ended in divorce 10 years ago. Rekha and Shahi have been in love for some time. Despite the talk of love, Rekha had been saying that she would get married only next April.

According to a source, they got married after reaching the Kathmandu District Court. Rekha, who made her film debut in 2056 BS, ruled the film industry for a decade. Nowadays, she seems to be more active in politics than in movies. Shahi is a tourism entrepreneur.
