Prime Minister Oli Lights A Million Lamps At Pashupatinath With Special Pooja

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has lit a million lamps at the Pashupatinath Temple today with a special pooja with a resolution for world peace and national welfare.

Dr. Pradip Dhakal, Member Secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Fund, told RSS that Prime Minister Oli, who arrived at the Pashupati Nath Temple along with his wife Radhika Shakya at around 8 in the morning, performed special pooja around the temple. On the occasion, he also took information about the activities of Pashupati region. He has directed the officials of the fund to develop Pashupati region as a holy place of followers of Vedic Sanatan Dharma of the world. Minister for Culture Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Dr Rajan Bhattarai and Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Kali Prasad Rijal were also present on the occasion.

In Pashupati area, Prime Minister Oli was welcomed by Member Secretary of the Fund Dhakal, Treasurer Dr. Milan Kumar Thapa and members of the Board of Directors. After the special puja, the offerings were made by Rawal Ganesh Bhatt, the original Bhatt of Pashupati. According to the fund, all the four, including the original, participated in the special puja.
